What foods are sources for omega-3 fatty acids?

The omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA are found in fatty fish, like salmon, mackerel, anchovies and sardines. Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) is another omega-3 fatty acid found in flax, canola, soy, perilla, and walnut oils. Our bodies can convert ALA into EPA and DHA, although the rate is low.
